The AiP31066L is a dot matrix LCD driver/controller produced using low-power CMOS technology. Its main features

Character Dot Matrix LCD Driver/Controller
Internal driver: 16C and 40S signal outputs.
can be easily connected to 4-bit or 8-bit MPUs.
Display character patterns: 5 x 8 dot matrix (192 types), 5 x 11 dot matrix (64 types).
Special character patterns can be programmed directly into the character generator RAM.
General-purpose character patterns can be programmed to the ROM of the character generator through a mask.
In combination with the AiP31065 or AiP31063, a maximum of 80 characters can be driven.
